Salt Lake Trip! (Stephanie's House)

Time to get wet!

Teens in their natural habitat. We did eventually get Ashley and Kasey to do something adventurous and it only took 2 days of cajoling.

Sage and Kane played so well together.

Asher, Cole, and Luke didn't sit in front of a game system the whole time but I'm sure they would have been happy to do so.

Salt Lake Trip! (Aunt Teenie's House)

Ashley, Sage, and Luke were all pretending to be animals. When I took the picture I don't think Ashley thought about the possibilities of my blogging it.

Salt Lake Trip! ( Nan's House)

Nan's House...

This is Ashley participating whole heartedly

Sage was enchanted when Aubree said she had the same hair-do. She was awestruck by Aubree the rest of the day.

Grandpa Don is so fun to climb on and Noah discovered this almost immediately.

Nan always throws great parties!

Fun idea from Betsy!

I tend to steal ideas from other blogs. Finally here is one you're supposed to steal:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Crazy Climber...

You can't turn your back on Noah. He just wants to be up higher and higher and see where he can fit his little body. This is how I found him Saturday. The picture's not great because I couldn't exactly leave him there to grab the camera so I just used my phone. The desk wasn't that messy when he got there. He sort of got a hold of things and tossed them around.

I've been tagged by Adrienne!

How to play this game of tag.
Post these rules on your blog:List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

3 Joys
1-my whole family laughing at something together. 2-rain storms 3-my cell phone (this sounds shallow at first glance so here is my reason: I would die without that connection to my friends and family)

3 Fears
1-Losing my husband 2-losing a child 3-EMP (look it up it can happen, yikes!)

3 Goals
1-getting a grip on scouts (I'm actually getting close). 2-losing weight (boring I know) 3-Getting my real estate income to exceed my real estate dues.

3 Current obsessions/collections
1- Trying to convince others to blog. 2- donating plasma (I get all that extra reading time and $200 a month. Woo hoo!) 3-www.thedailyplate.com

3 Random or Surprising facts about myself
(these might be repetitions from my 100 list)
1-I've never liked swimming even though I'm a really good swimmer. 2- During the sacrament I always stress if I think a tray is going to reach the end before a deacon gets there to retrieve it. 3- I lost half my hair after Noah was born (now I have just the right amount instead of looking like sasquatch).
I now tag: Everyone that wants to(Abi, Stephanie F., Stephanie T., Betsy, Anya, Carol, Heidi, Trina, Wendy)

In over my head...

I'm the first counselor in the primary presidency. Normally the second counselor is in charge of the cub scout program but the primary president decided to place me over cub scouts because I have a "vested interest" (i.e. I have 2 sons that are cub scouts). I could handle den leader easily but right now I feel overwhelmed. I went to Roundtable last night and as the woman teaching the class for committee chairs explained training necessities and my responsibility in it all I nearly burst into tears of frustration. It probably wouldn't be as hard but our ward has to take 3 scout callings and combine them into one and that's me. I'm the pack training leader, the committee chair, and the presidency representative. I do like to be busy though so I think I'll suck it up, dive into some internet research and try to get a handle on this baffling culture that is the scouting program.

Luke's pictures...

Luke loves to take pictures of himself. Some of them turn out pretty funny. They always turn out to be a surprise I find on the camera since I'm never around when he does it. I thought I would post the latest.
